Tribal and Baiga tribes started coming forward for vaccination, bypassing the rumor
Dindori (Rep. of New Zealand). Amidst all the rumors about vaccination in the tribal-dominated district of Dindori, the Jan Jagran Abhiyan started by Collector Ratnakar Jha has started showing fruitful results. On Wednesday, more than 21 percent record-breaking vaccination was done across the district. Along with the Baigachak area, there is a special enthusiasm among women and youth regarding vaccination in rural areas as well. Till the last one week, the situation across the district was such that only 150 to maximum two hundred people were coming to the vaccination center every day. People were keeping distance from vaccination due to rumours. To speed up vaccination by the collector, it was given the form of a public awareness campaign. Officers, employees, public representatives and social workers were associated with this campaign. On Wednesday, a target was set to vaccinate 2460 people across the district, while 2980 people got vaccinated more than the target.
