The Commission had asked the Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh to register an FIR against them. Apart from this, through the Union Home Secretary, the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh was asked to initiate a departmental inquiry into them. Despite the instructions of the Commission, departmental inquiry is being initiated against them when the next Lok Sabha elections are round the corner.

Said. The EOW had also registered a Preliminary Inquiry (PE) in this matter in December 2019, but the FIR was not registered even after two years. In this regard, Director General of EOW Ajay Sharma says that for seeking certified documents from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) 10 wrote more letters. 72 places were raided

Income Tax Department has attached Kamal Nath’s former OSD Pravin Kakkar, Advisor Rajendra Miglani, Prateek Joshi and Ashwani Sharma etc. in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi places were raided. Black money of more than 14 crore rupees was found in it. Documents secured in diaries and computers were seized in the raid. Based on the documents, the Income Tax Department had told that crore rupees have been sent to the headquarters of a national political party in Delhi.
