Their names are Pusa Ojasvi, Pusa Harsha, Pusa Sanshakti and Pusa Kirti. After long research, these varieties have been developed for the Central India region. Pusa will also be useful for the nutritious peninsular region, which will soon be visible in the fields of wheat growing states.

Four varieties of wheat have been developed at the Regional Wheat Research Center, Indore, Indian Agricultural Research Institute. There are varieties of Pusa Ojasvi and Pusa Harsha Sharbati and Pusa Sanshak and Pusa Kirti Kathia. Agricultural scientist KC Sharma says that this species of wheat will be useful for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kota of Rajasthan, Udaipur and Jhansi division of Uttar Pradesh. The quality and nutritional elements of all the four varieties have been tested at the Agricultural Research Center in Karnal.

The process of notification will be completed in a week. These varieties will be available to the farmers from the coming season. Right now its seeds are being prepared in the research center. One to two kilos of seeds have been made available to some farmers as samples. Due to the thick stem and short height, the crops will not lie on the ground and the yield will be bountiful.

Agriculture Scientist Sharma says that all four varieties will be important due to nutrients. There will be many nutrients like protein, zinc, iron in these, while yellow pigment (yellow pigment) will also be found in abundance in two varieties of Kathia, Pusa nutritious and Pusa Kirti.
