Auto rickshaw app News: App designed to identify legal and illegal autos, may be launched by the end of the month

The Transport Department had launched a campaign against autorickshaws twice in the state so far. A large number of illegal autorickshaws were seized in the campaign. who were not meeting the standards. It is not safe for passengers to travel in illegal autorickshaws. If the auto meets with an accident and it is not insured, then the claim will not be available. An app is being launched so that people can identify autorickshaws. Autos can be identified before traveling in an autorickshaw. On the orders of the Transport Department, all the district offices of the state have made the data of autorickshaws online in their respective districts. Just as people can see the data of vehicles on the website, they can also see the data of autos.

Permit arrangement for autorickshaws online

The Transport Department has made arrangements for permits for autorickshaws online. The permanent permit will be given for five years. After that the permit will be renewed for four months each. The entire process will be online. Auto data will be uploaded when it is online. Till now manual permits were given.

– The number of autorickshaws in Gwalior is close to nine thousand. The autos of R series have completed their age. They do not get permits.
