According to the Meteorological Department, seven cm in Nainpur, Niwari, Kolaras, six cm in Gunnaur, Barwah, Seoni, Mandla, Pichore, 24 cm till Wednesday evening, Satna, Pali, Manpur, Chaurai, Amarwada, Sohawal, Ajaygarh, Rajnagar, Chand , Uchehra, Beohari, Vidisha, Aaron and Neemuch recorded five cm of rain. The maximum temperature in the state has been recorded at Mandla and Sidhi at 40 degrees Celsius. The districts of Rewa Shahdol, Ujjain and Chambal divisions recorded the maximum temperature fall due to rain.
