Mahakaleshwar Temple Ujjain: Archaeological Department resumes excavation near Mahakal temple

At the place where the excavation is being done, further work has been started to explore new possibilities. Let us tell you that the Archaeological Department has entrusted the work of excavation to Research Officer Dr. Dhruvendrasinh Jodha. So far from this site, the base part of a thousand-year-old temple, ancient idols of Shiva family, Shivling, architectural blocks etc. have been recovered. The circumambulation path of black basalt is also visible around the ancient temple of Parmar.
